You Don't Need Any Language Other Than Music To Enjoy This Cello Cover Of 'Despacito'

The song of the summer gets a classical twist.

"Despacito," by Puerto Rican pop singer Luis Fonsi and rapper Daddy Yankee (with a popular remix featuring Justin Bieber), has taken the music world by storm in recent months. It became one of the rare non-English hits to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart, inspiring everything from swoon-worthy acapella covers to addictive dance routines.

Now, the strong contender for official "song the the summer" has gotten a brand-new interpretation from Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser, better known as 2Cellos. The talented musicians raised their bows for a classical-inspired cover of the song that removes all languages other than music.

In the video, the cellists deliver a high-energy performance, swaying along with the sound. The Croatian duo, who have released several albums, became popular thanks to their instrumental covers of popular songs, as well as movie and television soundtracks — their epic Game of Thrones cover is one of our favorites.

"It's Summer time and we just had to do a video of this song for you guys!!! ENJOY!!!" the pair wrote on their Facebook page about the latest performance. The end of the clip even features the guys trying out some of the lyrics (the key word is trying) and performing the cover for a crowd who sings along.
