Dad Shows His Appreciation For 'Game Of Thrones' By Parodying The Theme Song

"When she's mad at me because I'm a liar / I see dragons breathing fire."

New episodes of Game of Thrones may not be coming our way anytime soon, but we can still enjoy other fan's theories and artwork. One popular way fans of the series show their appreciation is through music. For example, we've heard a beautiful classical music cover and an excellent mariachi band do a kickass rendition of the show's theme. Even celebrity couple Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell showed how excited they are about the show by making a music video

Recently, Penn and Kim Holderness, the creative parents behind The Holderness Family YouTube channel, put together a little acapella parody of the Game of Thrones theme with the help of their kids. The family has been making parody videos for years that use music as a way to humorously bring up some of life's day-to-day struggles.

"What we've gotten out of doing all these videos is realizing we're all in this together. It doesn't matter where you live, it doesn't matter how much money you make," Kim told A Plus in a previous interview

Their version of the Game of Thrones theme shows how obsessed with the show some of us have become. In the video, Penn sings about how he can't seem to go about his day without the show popping into his head. Even when his wife is yelling at him or his kids would like him to take a moment to appreciate their artwork, Penn has got dragons and Jon Snow on the brain.
