As 2017 comes to a close, it's time to think about all that went on in this interesting year. It's a time to jot down your new year resolutions, celebrate the holidays with loved ones, and most importantly, reflect on all of the lessons you've learned over the last 12 months. 

While it's true we don't have to wait until a new year to make changes in our lives, it does present a great opportunity for a fresh start. Each year, we grow as individuals. We get older, wiser, and gain more life experience. It only makes sense that after a full year of living, we apply new lessons to our next phase. 

Maybe you made new friends, maybe you lost touch with old ones. Maybe you fell in love, dealt with heartbreak, or took your relationship to a new level. Maybe you started a new career or found yourself miserable with the one you currently have. Whatever realization you came to, it's sure to influence the way you carry on in the next year.
