Firefighter Stops A Christmas Parade To Propose To His Girlfriend And Her 2-Year-Old Daughter

He presented the engagement rings with the cheering crowd's applause in the background.

On Thursday, December 14, Matt Poliak, a Wisconsin firefighter, pulled off not one, but two parade-stopping proposals.

His girlfriend of two years, Grace Johnson, and her 2-year-old daughter, Isla, were sitting on the sidelines of the Winter Daze Parade in Menomonie, Wisconsin, when Poliak, dressed in his full gear, jumped out of the fire truck and walked over to them.

Immediately, Isla ran out to meet him. After a few more seconds of uncertainty, Johnson joined them in the middle of the parade route, where he was already down on one knee.

With the cheering crowd's applause in the background, Poliak presented an engagement ring to Johnson — and then one to her daughter.

Of course, both ladies were more than happy to say, "Yes."
